What do we mean by 'Participation'? Participation means creating and promoting positive opportunities for children and young people of all ages and abilities to get actively involved in all areas of our work, if and when they chose to do so.
It creates opportunities for children and young people to have their say on issues that affect their lives and to be listened to; contribute to and influence policies and services so that they are designed and delivered to reflect children and young people’s needs; have their participation acknowledged, supported and recognised.
