What is it? 2C-E facts: 2C-E is a synthesized psychedelic phenethylamine. It is a colourless oil which can also come in crystalline form.

2C-E is usually taken by mouth or snorted with intense and long lasting results.

What does 2C-E do to you?

What are the effects of 2C-E? 2C-E is a drug from which there is no escape from its effects, whilst it can take up to 90 minutes to feel its effect, these may well continue into the next day. With a low dose may come a sense of well-being, increased awareness of senses, hallucinations and synesthesia (where the senses seem linked e.g. sounds have a colour). However a small increase in dose can dramatically change the experience with no way of knowing how long it may last.

Unwanted effects can include increased sweating, dizziness and confusion. There can be unwanted and life-changing experiences from which there is no escape. Other side effects include jaw and muscle tension, nausea, vomiting, paranoia, fear and over-sensitisation to music and noise.

The risks: There have been no confirmed deaths in the UK relating to 2C-E. However there have been deaths due to mislabelled chemicals mistakenly taken for 2C-E.
